I completed the Shell NXplorers systems thinking programme, where I learned to approach complex challenges with a systems-thinking mindset. My team selected a challenge aligned with the UN SDGs and we mapped the root causes, connections, and ripple effects using NXplorers systems thinking. From there, we built solutions and a pathway to create change and pitched our ideas. This experience strengthened my confidence in critical thinking, collaboration, innovation, structured problem-solving under limited time, teamwork and the ability to “see the system” before jumping to solutions.
