Key projects include: Aujan Wastewater Treatment Plant – Trickling Filter Reinstallation Successfully handled the reinstallation work for the trickling filter system at the Aujan WWTP. Scope included mechanical installation, inspection, alignment, and ensuring system readiness for smooth operation post-refurbishment. National Food Products Company (NFPC) – Effluent Treatment Plant Commissioning Participated in the commissioning of an advanced wastewater treatment system incorporating both Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) and Activated Sludge Reactor (ASR) technologies. Responsibilities included process startup, functional testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with effluent discharge standards. These projects strengthened my technical capabilities in biological treatment processes, mechanical installation, and system commissioning, while ensuring environmental compliance and operational efficiency.

Involved in the preparation, blending, and handling of treatment chemicals used in water and wastewater processes. Responsibilities included: Accurately measuring and blending treatment chemicals such as coagulants, flocculants, antiscalants, pH adjusters, disinfectants, and polymer solutions based on process requirements. Ensuring proper dilution ratios and compatibility of chemicals for effective dosing in both primary treatment and tertiary polishing stages. Monitoring and adjusting chemical formulations to optimize treatment efficiency, reduce sludge generation, and maintain regulatory discharge standards. Coordinating with the process and operations team to maintain continuous chemical supply and support dosing systems during plant operations and commissioning. Following all safety protocols for chemical handling, including proper use of PPE and spill response procedures. This experience enhanced my understanding of chemical treatment processes, dosing systems, and the critical role of precise chemical blending in achieving optimal plant performance.

Responsible for overseeing the complete operation and maintenance activities of water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant plant performance. Key responsibilities include: Leading daily O&M operations for treatment systems such as MBR, Activated Sludge Process (ASP), Trickling Filter, RO, Cooling Tower, Boiler water and Demineralizing treatment units. Supervising a team of operators, technicians, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth and continuous plant operation. Monitoring plant performance, analyzing operational data, and optimizing process parameters to achieve effluent quality targets and regulatory compliance. Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Managing chemical dosing systems, sludge handling processes, and inventory of spare parts and consumables. Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, including flow rates, chemical consumption, energy usage, and maintenance records. Ensuring adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and conducting toolbox talks and safety audits. Liaising with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities regarding plant performance and compliance issues. Commissioning Phase Led the installation, testing, and commissioning of treatment units, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. Performed system flushing, leak tests, chemical dosing setup, calibration of instruments, and ensured proper integration of SCADA/PLC controls.
