Kathy founded ThinkVirtues, LLC in 2011, to combat what she perceived as a growing recession in morality, empathy, and basic human decency in America. As a successful business woman, author, teacher, and mother of two, Kathy was uniquely positioned to attack this disturbing trend head-on. In addition to running a successful mortgage business, Kathy leads teams of educators and researchers to design and deliver content, workshops and distant hands-on programs for both successful professionals, young adults, as well as school-aged children. Kathy is a John Maxwell certified speaker, leadership trainer and coach, and an ongoing student of neuroscience as it relates to learning, behavior and development. A graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago, Kathy has taught art and served as a board member for the Montessori Academy of North Hoffman, Illinois, since 1995, working tirelessly to inspire and empower children, educators, and parents.

ThinkVirtues™ expands the mission of its founder to cultivate virtue within children and lay a foundation for future generations. In partnership with her sister, Sara, Kathy is focused on empowering schoolchildren with vital social skills, bringing awareness to their actions, and easing parental burdens. Her vision is to stem the tide of bullying early on and obliterate it altogether. According to Kathy, morality teaching should be a daily commitment. ThinkVirtues™ works with school systems to deliver programs that bridge the gap between what is only briefly taught to children in schools today, and the skills that they need to live a virtuous life. Through habituation and inculcation, children learn how to practice respect and reverse the effects of any negative behaviors. EUTOPIA is that perfect place that can be achieved in the real world, as opposed to Utopia, a fantasy place. This book series is geared toward educators and parents, as well as grandparents, legal guardians, or those in a custodial role. The curriculum is designed to introduce children to virtues—those that are in practice and not practiced—and help them understand how their actions, good or bad, have consequences. The first tool in ThinkVirtues' program is Eutopia, The Discovery. A bridge between a chapter and picture book, Eutopia engages, entertains and empowers children while teaching them the value of virtues such as compassion, helpfulness, empathy and love. Children learn the value of the outlined virtues through the adventures of the story’s two main characters, Kyle and Kameron. In Eutopia, the two boys stumble across another world that has been destroyed by vice and greed. Kyle and Kameron must practice their virtues in order to awaken the guardians of Eutopia and restore this once perfect place. This story of practicing virtues to promote good within the world will awaken kid’s thoughts about good behavior and give them a better sense of being.
