Project - Development of a Cloud-based Data Warehouse Platform in AWS (2024 - Present) - Spearheaded the design and implementation of a robust data warehouse architecture on AWS using Amazon Redshift, integrated with an S3 data lake to enable scalable, high-performance data storage and analytics. - Developed and optimized ETL pipelines utilizing AWS Glue, PySpark, and Step Functions to automate ETL from various sources, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, flat files, and external websites. - Implemented serverless workflows with AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SES, and CloudWatch for real-time processing and monitoring, ensuring seamless integration and improving operational efficiency and communication. - Led the development of the data warehouse platform to support advanced analytics, reporting, and BI, ensuring data integrity and compliance. - Created and managed a Databricks environment to support the data science team's machine learning initiatives, developing optimized data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver clean data from S3, databases, and APIs for accurate model development. Data Migration Engineer Project: KBZ Bank Core Banking Data Migration (01/2015 – 07/2018) Executed large-scale data migration (300+ branches) from ACE (Legacy) to Oracle Flexcube Core Banking using MSSQL and Oracle PL/SQL ETL. Rapidly progressed to Senior Data Migration Engineer/Team Leader, successfully managing the project until completion. Resolved critical production issues during Live migration by expertly debugging Application and Database logs (incident management). Built UAT environments; developed required SQL (views, pivots, triggers); coordinated data cleansing, extraction, and transformation (ETL) with the KBZ core banking team. Gained strong functional knowledge of Fintech data structure and banking business data; ensured final data integrity post-Go-Live. Developed foundational DBA skills (MSSQL, Oracle) and strong communication skills crucial for customer relationship management.
