Hi, I'm Utsav, an AI researcher building capabilities that ship.Most AI products today are just clever prompt wrappers. They look impressive in a demo until a real customer asks something the model wasn't expecting. Then everything falls apart — and nobody on the team can really explain why.I've spent the last few years living in that gap. My work sits at the intersection of LLM behavior, retrieval systems, and multimodal AI — in the messy reality of actual products where text, voice, image, video, and live web context all collide. Worked on Cloud Privacy and Cryptography. Order Preserving Encryption(OPE) emerged as State of the Art encryption mechanism ensuring security with efficiency. OPE by design reveals order, telling frequency and distribution. Adversaries could use this leak to decrypt the data values with up to 100% accuracy. Designed a scheme and a new security model that is strictly stronger than OPE and is able to hide the order from the adversary with only logarithmic order increase in storage at the client-side.

The project was named as Diamond Matrix Powers Kernel (DMPK) due to its diamond-like pattern growth while performing calculations on each processor when seen on stencil matrices. DMPK was accepted in HPCAsia 2020.
