I have a background in marketing but made a career switch to robotics in 2022. I currently run AGV intralogistics operations at hospitals with whom my employer has contracts in place. I am also fascinated by the Bauhaus movement and the works of Dieter Rams. On a personal note, I love the writings of Anais Nin, the photography of Annie Leibovitz, the design philosophy of Neri Oxman, and the architecture of Zaha Hadid. I completed an intensive professional certificate in Factory 4.0 Robot Product Design. The course covered mechanical engineering, automation, PLC, and electronics (mechatronics). In the final project, I: - designed an end-effector using SolidWorks, 3D printed its components and assembled them. - Attached the EE to UR5 cobot with a bracket and DC motor and H-Bridge. - Controlled the EE using CodeSys PLC. - Programmed the UR5 using its pendant. - The simple project requirement was to pick small wooden cubes and place them at another position nearby.
