Responsible for the perioperative care of hospital clients in the surgical department of an extremely busy rural hospital. Duties included admitting clients, procuring and setting up supplies for the operating room, assisting other members of the surgical team, acting as client advocate, recovering and stabilizing clients before transfers to other hospital units. Also responsible for duties assigned, such as ordering and stocking of supplies, designing and completing efficiency and client outcome studies. Call back time averaged 20 to 40 hours per month

Operation of Class IV Deep Tissue Therapy Laser for indicated conditions. Position includes communication with other staff and patients and one-on-one patient treatment, correct positioning and safe use of the laser, as well as use of the Chiro-touch EMR system. Position includes some marketing of the laser treatment. All ages are treated.

Ensured compliance to policies, procedures, state/federal mandates and requirements. Teaching of residents, their families and staff as needed. Utilized and managed electronic MAR (Quickmar)and assessment tools (Vigilan), Excel, Word and Outlook. Also participated in fund-raising activities and working extra hours as needed to cover staffing
