Theophilus Kioko

Theophilus Makau Kioko boasts an impressive 12-year career within the water resources sector and landscape restorations encompassing a diverse range of responsibilities. His expertise spans through project cycles from initial conception and planning stages to its implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and eventual closure. Theophilus has implemented water infrastructure projects through design, construction of small earth dams and pipelines installation for communities and private individuals. He has undertaken Environmental management within water catchments, with a specific focus on landscape restoration initiatives. His role involved conducting landscape assessments to determine the restoration potential of various areas, implementing restoration activities, and conducting research to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of different restoration measures. Under the threat of climate change, interventions worked on center around resilient infrastructure and Nature based solutions. Though these processes, he has worked with stakeholders at the grass root level for locally led solutions all the way to government and senior levels using different approaches at each level.
