Managed operations in a 900,000 sq, ft. “big box” distribution center servicing 500 stores in a retail pharmacy chain. Directed daily operations for 650 employees including 5 managers, 13 supervisors and 14 leads with P&L of $28 million payroll & 300 million shipped units. • Maintained safety, quality and productivity standards in all departments. • Maximized cube for outbound shipments, improving quality and productivity, and cost reduction. • Implemented new policies and procedures to align with the CVS network. • 5% increase in facility throughput by re-slotting 21,000 SKUs. • Integrated warehouse management system to standardize facility with CVS distribution centers. • Developed Production Manager and 6 Supervisors managers to achieve succession goals.
