Business Intelligence Report Development using IBM Cognos As a graduate Engineering Trainee, my responsibilities were spread around initially with learning the Technology and building report on a B2C basis on requirement. It then grew with providing Dashboard and other Data Visualization based representations for easy understanding of the data thereby assisting in Decision making activities

Business Intelligence Report Development, Dashboard development, Framework manager Meta Data Modelling, Tool evaluation, Part time Cognos Administration and Requirement gathering With growth in experience, there was a growth in the responsibilities that are to be taken care of. My responsibilities got elevated to Data Modelling using Cognos Framework Manager apart from the existing responsibilities of developing reports and dashboards. The Responsibilities also got extended towards communicating with the Business Users apart from the Requirement Gathering Activities I was involved with. Later I also took up a bit of Cognos Administrator activities like deployments, Security Control and Assigning Capabilities to the users in the Administrator's absence.
