By definition, I coordinate our recruitment and hiring methods, strategies and protocols. But primarily, I am a guide, resource and mentor for those exploring a career in law enforcement and those that want to further challenge and develop themselves. · Coordinate shift operations of officers and resources to respond to 911 calls for service. · Supervise up to 20 employees in field operation and review their documentation, and work product. · Manage complex, dynamic scenes and utilize resources, agencies, and specialized teams. Skills and Experience: · Foster growth of employees through investment in their personal and career development. · Designated Departmental Team Leader for Regional Valley Civil Disturbance Unit. · Direct squads in volatile, rapidly-evolving deployments with specialized tactics and tools. · Methodical planning for operations involving uncommon problems with high liability. · Facilitate debriefs and review of national and regional trends and situations to build critical thinking, and big-picture analysis within the team. · Develop wellness and peer support programming and content for department (200 employees) to support organizational health and culture. · Deliver and apply messaging to direction and policies to officers for implementation to optimize buy-in. · Act as ideal liaison between administrators and line-level employees by fostering trust. · Adapt dynamically to communicative needs. Effective in public speaking, mediation, and written formats to a vast array of audiences and stakeholders. · Developed Kent Police Department’s Wellness and Peer Support programs as self-initiated efforts. · Partnered with administration to create new resources to support personnel mindset and longevity. · Created Kent Police Department’s first recruiting social media campaign.

Supervising the Kent PD Training Unit Overseeing departmental training for all personnel, officers, and recruits. Coordinating and growing the department’s Field Training Program.
