I led the overall product/platform strategy, business strategy, partnerships and early GTM: - Built product-led growth based business model - Defined target market and market sizing, product roadmap, pricing, and initial sales and go-to-market motions working closely with Marketing, Product Education and Community teams to execute on those - Worked closely with UX Design and Research and Customer Success to gather customer and community feedback - Worked with leadership team to grow the company and build company culture

Founding and lead PM for Cloud Spanner, from ideation to strategy to public launch as a GoogleCloud product. Set product direction, roadmap and GTM strategy and grew adoption and revenue from the ground up. Helped define overall GoogleCloud database portfolio strategy for cloud-native vs on-prem, SQL vs NoSQL offerings, migrations, CDC etc.

Launched Spanner as a service internally at Google, managed engineering delivery and product lifecycle operations, defined and led customer onboarding and account management (Ads, Gmail, Drive, Contacts, GooglePlay, etc), and worked with cross-functional teams to accelerate adoption and growth across Google teams globally.

Managed a growing software development team across two sites (Bay Area and Mexico), on multiple projects. Led technical design + development for these projects, including schedule / quality / delivery management.

Member of advanced development team in Oracle's RAC (Real Application Clusters) product. It provides the enabling technology for other Oracle products such as Exadata, Exalogic, and ODA. Designed and developed a novel system for proactive problem detection and resolution in cloud-based systems improving system uptime and dramatically reducing maintenance costs. Technical lead and mentor for a number of new hires in the team.

1. Developed and maintained a high-visibility feature for group consistency in the Oracle RAC cluster database based on health-monitoring. My efforts led to increased reliability and reduced total cost of ownership of the product. Designed, developed and deployed this functionality as a new feature in the Oracle ASM product 2. Designed, developed and deployed an infrastructure to integrate existing hang detectors across different modules in several of Oracle’s clustering products

Interned at the Electronics Controls Integration Lab. Investigated and analyzed feasibility of safely upgrading vehicle software remotely in AUTOSAR - industry standard for electronics architecture - used by the top ten automotive companies in the world, such as GM, BMW, Ford and Toyota.
