As an engineering manager at Arrival, I worked in three key directions: technical leadership, people management, and team-to-business consistency. My key results in this position: - Designed architecture and built a strategic vision of the product with an evolutionary mindset - Reviewed more than 500 code reviews in 4 programming languages - Established a strong development process with 80% goal completion - Organised an optimal process of hiring with minimal team distraction - Hired 13 new teammates (Software Engineers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers) - Organised about 150 technical interviews - Established a work environment with 93% employee retention within a year on average - Established a Personal Growth Framework - Wrote about 30 engineering guidelines - Established a smooth onboarding process with a deep dive into the domain via video lessons and articles with 100% satisfaction rate - Created CI (Continuous Integration) library that we adopted within the product and other teams reuse as well - Translated hundreds of business ideas, sketches, and analytic documents into feasible features that the team may incrementally and predictably deliver

I joined ARRIVAL as a founding Senior Software Engineer for the internal product. In this position: - I led the system design and development of the tool from scratch - I have finished more than 150 tasks and reviewed about 250 merge requests - I was in charge of the most complex features - I kept a balance between “the target architecture” and current business needs - I guided less experienced teammates and reviewed their results of work - I guaranteed the stability of the system - I introduced an initiative within my department to promote Kotlin + Spring Boot stack as the primary one, so, eventually, that became the most popular stack for web applications in the company - I helped my teammates to grow and study the best practices of software engineering so we finally got a strong team that can solve any complex task

Since I’ve moved to Haulmont I managed to work deeply on existing algorithms that allowed our users to find quasi-optimal solutions in different fields as well as I’ve created new ones from scratch: - I've created meta-heuristic evolutionary scheduling algorithms (area of Artificial Intelligence) based on generics algorithms to optimize passenger transfer to cruise liners by a British taxi company - I was improving a heuristic school curriculum planner transforming it from RnD to production-ready solution and implementing new functionality - I was developing multi-tenancy support for the core product of the company (Jmix, former CUBA.Platform)

Work in this research and production company required a unique combination of backend engineering skills and an understanding of the science behind the multi-agent ideas, so as a java developer: - I was maintaining algorithms for enterprise production scheduling and improved the backend for it in close collaboration with frontend team - I’ve developed a backend service to provide access to micro-satellite swarm scheduling algorithms
