* To lead the team to perform engineering and design calculation of static equipment (Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Tanks, Columns, Piping etc.) as per international codes and project standards * Managing engineering projects and to allocate work among team members * Review of contractual documents including datasheet, specifications, project standards etc * Checking mechanical design calculation, FE analysis, GA and fabrication drawings * To ensure complete compliance of all engineering projects to codes, project standards and client specifications * Attending all technical mails and telecoms with clients and engineering subcontractors * Estimation of engineering project man-hours

* 1. To perform mechanical design calculation and detailed engineering of static equipment including pressure vessels, storage tanks, Columns,heat exchangers etc. * 2. Review of contractual documents like datasheet, Project specification, Engineering standards etc received from customer and record the review in checklist * 3. To prepare and issue BOQ of plates, pipes, flanges, fittings, boltings etc * 4. Preparation of TDC based on client spec. and codes for procurement of materials as per BOQ * 5. To do design planning ie., Design inputs, Out puts, review, Verification and Validation * 6. Checking of design data, design notes, weld details in GA drawings as per design calculation * 7. Checking of fabrication drawings, cutting layouts, Weld maps etc. * 8. Obtaining approval of design calculation and drawing from client, AI, TPI etc * 9. Performing preliminary design calculation based on datasheet and project specification for quoting * 10. To provide technical clarification to customer/AI and other depts.
