Insert conventional parts which are used for large conventional production runs. Conventional parts that cannot be machine inserted are inserted on one of eight hand insertion lines where irregular sized or odd shaped components are inserted. PCB’s are then soldered through a Wave Flow Solder Machine as standard. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the design and development of printed circuit boards, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. • Collaborate with design engineers to review and approve PCB layouts and schematics. • Checking the quality of jobs which are populated PCB from machine and check quality of PCB passed through conventional work. • Manage the PCB production process, including coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality boards. • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of PCBs to identify and resolve any defects or issues. • Maintain accurate documentation of PCB designs, revisions, and production processes. • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments as needed. • Stay up to date with advancements in PCB technology and manufacturing techniques. • Record job cards where you fill the record of everything done on soldering.
