As an expediting manager, I followed up with the suppliers in Canada and expedited the delivery of Valves and Heat Exchangers for Fadhili Project in order to meet the project schedule. Major Activities: 1- Visited the shops of manufacturers and vendors on weekly basis. 2- Sent weekly progress report to Petrofac. 3- Followed up on action points, punch lists and inspection schedule. 4- Attended the quantity meetings, and expedite the submissions of vendor documents and close out documents.

Project Values: from USD 2.3 to 4 Billion Responsibilities: Management of Engineering, Procurement, and delivery of Structural steel and Storage tanks; EPC of 35 Shelters including Steel, Cladding, Doors, Louvers etc.; QTY of steel: +30,000 MT; QTY of Tanks: 10 storage Tanks • Leveraged multitasking skills to successfully manage a team of project engineers, structural engineers, TEKLA vendors and 8 fabrication shops simultaneously to ensure smooth engineering, drawings release, fabrication, delivery, and erection of 30,000MT of structural steel in a very challenging time schedule • Reported directly to Project Director while effectively working as the single point of contact, managing vendor purchase orders (PO), back charges, liquidated damage (LD) settlement, client and vendor invoicing, internal and external audits, and the preparation and compilation of lessons learned (LL). • Diligently prepared agendas and effectively manage tanks/fabrication vendor kick off, pre-inspection (PIM), and engineering progress review meetings to avoid scope creep and probable delays, while effectively responding to vendor/construction request for information (RFI). • Effectively utilized proactive skills in controlling & coordinating structural steel & civil bulk procurement, material allocation planning, vendor evaluation, drawing review, modification, and design change management. • Carefully identified and resolved complex construction and fabrication issues including steel erection, welding, painting, galvanizing, fire-proofing, non-destructive examination (NDE), and quality control to enhance productivity. • Actively responsible for the delivery of 75,000 sq. m of Grating which includes; Issuance of GA drawings to Grating vendors; Expediting preparation and approval of erection drawings; Expediting fabrication and delivery of grating to the construction site as per the project schedule and the construction priority.

Project Values: USD 670,000.00 Responsibilities: • Collaborated with Engineering, procurement, contract, sub-contactor, joint venture partner, construction, commissioning to get all required bill of quantities, material quotations, prices, clarification with clients, and compiling the required document for proposal submission etc. • Issuance of GA drawings for pipe racks, equipment supporting structures, platforms, and pipe supports. • Collaborated with TEKLA vendors to ensure the timely release of the shop drawings. • Spearheaded the allocation of shop drawing and associated raw materials to fabrication shops based on their capacities and the agreed delivery commitment. • Diligently responded to shop queries related to quality management and technical related issues. • Carefully monitored the progress of fabricator on daily basis and expedited the delivery of structures based on site priority. • Collaborated with the raw material supplier to ensure timely delivery of raw materials based on provided MTOs and the agreed delivery schedule.

Client: Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO). Project Value: USD 2.3 Billion Responsibilities: • Analyzing and designing of steel and concrete structures, reinforced cement concrete (RCC) buildings, connections (bolted-welded), structural and equipment foundations, shelters, modular structures, and culverts. • Diligently prepared and developed documents and drawings such as design basis, technical specifications, standard drawings, design calculation notes, construction drawings, list of deliverable, and man-hour. • Carefully prepared material requisition, technical bid evaluations and purchase requisitions followed by reviewing and evaluating supplier documentation to control budget and compliance with company policies to maximize the profits for several proposals. • Collaborated and liaised with sub-contractors, client, internal disciplines and project management to review and take adequate measures in completing the project within budget and schedule, and resolved conflicts between clients, team members and management in meticulous and positive manner. • Proactively involved in all phases of industrial projects including basic design engineering, detail design engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), Front End Engineering and Design (FEED), proposals, steel fabrication detailing, and coordination. • Regularly performed site visits to oversee and ensure compliance with design, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and regulation. • Effectively took on supervisory duties on the geotechnical subcontractor at the site till he submitted the project Geotechnical Investigation Report.
