About
I received my Ph.D. from Saitama University, Japan in 2000 from a very distinguished laboratory under Professor Takashi Asaeda for my commitment to aquatic ecological engineering. My consistent research interest has been on ecohydrology, the impact of hydrological changes to ecosystem stability. I am a recipient of the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellowship, from 2005 to 2007. Presently I am the Director of Internal Quality Assurance of the University of Ruhuna. I respect and honor my school, St. Aloysius' College, Galle where I received my primary and secondary education from 1972 to 1985, nourished me and gave me full of strength to develop my career to this extent that I enjoy my life today.
