Effectively managing organizational changes requires a profound understanding of what organizational change actually entails. How do organizations evolve, and what influence does management truly have on all the developmental dynamics at play? What other factors play a role in organizational development, besides management direction? In this CPP program, these questions are approached from various theoretical perspectives. Based on this, the key elements of change management are addressed (such as diagnosis, phases, power, leadership). Each of these elements is illuminated from diverse theoretical angles. As a result, the program encourages participants to deeply reflect on their own assumptions about change management and organizational change. Additionally, the program provides practical tools and approaches for each of these themes.

The Certified Professional Program Advanced Studies in Management focuses on the contemporary demands placed on organizations. Managers are doers and intervene to achieve results. Sometimes, speed takes precedence over carefulness. The program provides a counterbalance to this action-oriented approach; we emphasize understanding and analyzing existing situations and responsibly designing a desired situation. Participants broaden their own repertoire, see different facets of problems, and discover new solutions. The following questions related to general management are central to the program: What is the environment in which the organization operates, and what opportunities does it offer? What are the strategic dilemmas and challenges, and how do I choose the strategy? How do we structure the organization? (structures, procedures, and processes) How do we manage and control the organization? (planning and control)
