Supported international ocean and air freight shipments of promotional products, custom bobbleheads, to Major and Minor League sports franchises, college campuses and promotional events. • Managed ocean freight carrier contracts: FY2010 - 125 forty foot container shipments. • Solicited freight forwarders and air freight providers to support over 60 air shipments for FY2010. • Identified key performance indicators on all freight providers and negotiated cost of goods sold per item. • Attended Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism conference in 2010 and responsible for the company’s C-TPAT certification.

Responsible for the shipping and visibility of over 25 million pounds of green coffee, store merchandise and capital equipment moved via ocean and air. • Initiated a duty drawback program showing an annual savings of $87,500, which supported the launch of the Frappuccino beverage in stores worldwide. • Reviewed import documentation for U.S. Customs compliance and identified the U.S. Customs Harmonized Tariff Schedule number for all items shipped. • Developed training materials and conducted workshops for the department to show other internal departments the resources and requirements necessary to support a global supply chain. • Increased ocean volumes by 20% from FY1999 to FY2000 by changing to FOB origin terms. • Aided in the creation of the Vendor Manual and International Holiday Shipment Guide.
