As founder of DAS-Technologies, LLC, developed survey software which later became part of a comprehensive market research solution that was marketed to market research companies. The survey software was purchased by Schlesinger Associates. Oversaw the integration and customization of the software into their existing environment.

I started working at Gino’s as an intern to get credits for my degree. Gino’s hired me to work on their accounting software (COBOL)

Designed and implemented an intranet using DotNetNuke (DNN). Incorporated several existing websites into the new intranet. By using a content management system(DNN) to build the intranet, various departments were now empowered to manage their own content. Worked with the departments to develop their initial content as well as provided documentation and training for the departments to maintain their intranet content.

As a Senior Developer for this .com startup, I developed an internet web application using VB and SQL that provided users to ability to schedule package pickups and pay for shipments via a direct interface to UPS.

Paylinks, LLC was a technology company that designed and developed an internet based payments processing software product that included clearing network support for Fedwire, Chips and ACH payment s, an easy to use payment initiation interface and cash management functionality. The software was designed with an open architecture, a multi-banking customer database, real-time transaction authorization and automated transaction routing and settlement. The software was marketed to large regional and money center banks. The company was sold to Applied Communications, Inc.

Improved call center workflow by automating paper based processes that included screening respondents using paper based questionnaires, writing the answers and manually entering the respondents screening information onto an excel spreadsheet. By creating a flexible and dynamic method of digitizing the screening information, call center recruiters require less training, allowing more respondents to be recruited in the same amount of time. Since the screening information is now programmatically captured, the excel spreadsheets are automatically generated, eliminating the time required to manually enter the results and reducing the errors associated with manual entry. The automation of the call center’s workflow is based on software that I designed and created (written in VB.NET and SQL) to program surveys. These surveys are e-mailed to respondents to see if they qualify for a particular focus group. The survey software is the foundation for the digital screener software which is used by recruiters in the call center to recruit respondents for focus groups via the phone.

Implemented a DotNetNuke website for their client. Offered technical advice as well as developed several modules that interfaced to the client's back end.

I upgraded and consolidated multiple websites that were built upon the DotNetNuke CMS. I automated MCIU's paper based book of services so that school districts could easily search, find and share the services that they were interested in. MCIU wanted to offer websites to smaller schools, so I built an infrastructure using DotNetNuke that allowed them to easily set up new websites and train the schools to manage and update the content of their websites.

At ACI I was a Paylinks Consultant in support of the Paylinks Application which was a web based international funds transfer software package that I developed and was purchased by ACI. Security was the major design consideration since millions of dollars flowed through the system. This presented a major challenge because, at the time, web development tools were minimal. In order to build a secure system, a unique session management system was implemented using C programs that generated ALL of the HTML code used to display screens. The logon page was the only static HTML web page in the system. The C programs used embedded SQL calls to access the database. While at ACI I trained ACI employees to support the application, led sales/marketing presentations to potential customers and worked with customers during their software implementation.
