Way back when and as long as I can remember I have loved photographs. I can be stopped in my tracks and my heart can skip a beat when I see an image that moves me. My love of photography began as a young girl when I learned about cameras from my father who at one point worked as a professional photographer. He taught me much about technical aspects of photography and I learned more throughout high school and college from inspiring teachers and successful professionals. In those days I though I'd be a writer but somewhere toward the end of college, though I graduated with a journalism degree, I decided I wanted to be a professional photographer.Background Information: Professional Photographer since 1993, started with one camera and a big dream Began The Moment Photography in 1997 Transitioned to The Moment Photography LLC in 2008, specializing in the capture of People, their lives, their loves, and their milestones. Had many high school and college interns over the years, as well as part time subcontractors and at one point had two full time employees. The Goal is to have a warehouse studio one day with many photographers that I dream of as The Cameragirls! I want to generate enough work that I can spend most of my days actually shooting photographs, and less time involved in business. Though, I do have a love of words and enjoy the marketing and advertising pieces to a business. The New Venture involves a partnership and a design collaborative. It is in the early phase and at this point we are searching for and gathering women artists to be part of our e-store and offer our products to art-loving individuals the world over!
