I was I was responsible for fitting and terminating cable looms and their associated mounting equipment to Airbus 380 aircraft.

* As a Sergeant in the Royal Air Force my duties consisted of: * Assessing task requirements * Undertake defect investigations * Advise and assist in the design and layout of workshops and maintenance facilities * Calculate and assess aircraft fatigue data * Direct and arrange the training of personnel * Compile statistical data, produce fault finding charts and tables and investigate and prepare reports on the following: * Faults due to design defects, materials or workmanship * Modifications and trial installations * Material for engineering publications * Administer and control technical maintenance records and aircraft armament maintenance data * Accept the responsibility of a post as a senior supervisor in charge of staff at shop floor level * Compile staff confidential reports and assessments for use by higher management
