As a Senior Materials Engineer, my play a pivotal role in managing materials engineering activities for Component commodities, providing comprehensive materials engineering solutions to manufacturing lines, R&D, and NPI sites to meet business needs and quality expectations. My key responsibilities include: • Supplier Development: Explore and develop supplier capabilities to effectively support component sourcing and technical requirements. • Technology Exploration: Actively research and source for new components with latest technologies to avoid new product use the dying technology. • Technical Leadership: Collaborate with suppliers for technical specification studies, root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with product quality expectations. • Cost-saving Initiatives: Lead projects on cost-saving initiatives, including alternative material/part recommendations and qualification plans aligned with product requirements. • Design Influence: Provide input to product design to ensure materials manufacturability and alignment with the global supply chain. • Crisis Resolution: Lead efforts to resolve materials quality/manufacturability issues/part shortage efficiently. • Collaboration and Improvement: Collaborate with procurement and internal product teams to enhance/sustain products and processes by understanding material technology obsolescence and future roadmaps. • Supplier Audits: Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization and continuous improvement efforts.

• Product owner of PXIe SASG modular, responsible for its performance, quality and reliability throughout product life and product transfer to meeting business objectives. • Lead and Supports quality team and partners for customer feedback on out-of-box defects. Perform investigation and failure analysis on defective return. • Partners with procurement and technical services to improve/sustain products and processes. • Perform troubleshooting, repairing and provide disposition in situation of excessive failure or during escalation. • Direct the work of third party vendors and/or partners to meet contract specified deliverable, performance or business objectives.

Troubleshoot and make necessary improvements to ensure the product meets the necessary safety and EMC requirements - Perform failure analysis on Out of Box defects and warranty failures and make the necessary improvements to enhance the quality and reliability of the product
