Temitope Iyiola

I am a UK-based Cardiac Nurse with over five years of clinical experience across international healthcare settings, specialising in acute cardiology and the management of patients with complex cardiovascular conditions in high-acuity hospital environments. My professional background spans cardiology and emergency care, where I have developed strong clinical expertise in cardiac monitoring, ECG interpretation, prioritisation of acutely unwell patients, and multidisciplinary collaboration to optimise outcomes. In my current role on a Cardiology Ward, I provide specialist care for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions, including arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-interventional cases. I take responsibility for coordinating care, supporting junior staff, and delivering safe, evidence-based practice while maintaining high standards of clinical governance and patient safety. I am passionate about improving cardiac outcomes through early recognition of deterioration, effective teamwork, and continuous professional development. I recently completed a leadership development programme and I am currently pursuing an MSc in Nursing to further strengthen my clinical, academic, and leadership capabilities.
