I build and scale industrial and deep-technology businesses across Asia-Pacific — from industrial gases and large-scale plant projects to electronics, Big Science, energy transition, and hydrogen. Based in Japan, I serve as General Manager for Asia Pacific at Air Liquide Advanced Technologies — the group's engineering and advanced-equipment business unit — with full P&L responsibility for entities across Japan, South Korea, China and Australia, directing strategy, finance, product development, project execution, and sales. A few things I'm proud of: •Deliver first-of-its-kind engineering projects across process equipment, hydrogen refueling stations, and Big Science (helium liquefaction) in APAC. •Opened the Australia market for the business unit, delivering the country's first two hydrogen refueling stations with my team. •Supervise Air Liquide's business in China through the joint venture with Houpu, guiding local hydrogen-equipment activity and market development. •Led the establishment of a new business unit in Korea, building it into a profitable business. •Ran a standalone industrial-gas affiliate P&L, returning it to growth while serving major chemical and oil & gas customers and supporting the group's electronics, industrial-merchant, and healthcare lines. •At Sojitz — a major Japanese trading house — structured and managed nine-figure industrial plant projects (acrylic acid; ammonia/methanol/urea EPC; power plants), including JBIC financing, licensing, and PMO delivery. •Maintain an exemplary safety record — zero lost-time incidents in my perimeter since appointment. My foundation is technical: a PhD in chemical engineering, with hands-on delivery of complex process plants for chemical, oil-refining, gas-processing, steel, and electronics customers.
