As an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Smith School of Business, I supported first-year students in Introduction to Financial Accounting and Calculus courses, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment. My responsibilities included grading examinations efficiently in collaboration with professors and fellow TAs, facilitating open tutorials to clarify complex concepts, and providing personalized support to students. This experience honed my ability to communicate effectively, manage time efficiently, and mentor students, further enhancing my leadership and problem-solving skills. During my internship at RSM Korea in Yeouido, Seoul, I gained invaluable hands-on experience in auditing for public firms in the technology sector, focusing on compliance with K-IFRS standards for half-year financial reports. I reconciled cash and cash equivalent accounts under strict deadlines and prepared detailed audit reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to professional standards. Collaborating closely with senior leaders, including internal controllers and financial managers, I gathered critical insights to verify financial information and support decision-making processes. This experience allowed me to develop strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, further solidifying my passion for accounting and auditing.
