I manage the development & implementation of four (technical & ecosystem) projects within the NXTGEN HighTech program in the AgriFood ( Horticulture) sector. My role bridges TU Delft with industry partners to address challenges through research and innovation, utilizing RoboHouse, a TU Delft's fieldlab. Additionally, I am setting up a greenhouse facility for testing and validating early prototypes (TRL 4-6), a first for TU Delft.

I facilitated in defining organizational structure and identified market trends for crop automation in greenhouses, driving product strategy and pricing. I crafted grant applications, facilitated due diligence, and tailored pitch decks for variable audiences. I managed daily operations, coordinated cross-functional teams, and built strong stakeholder relationships to enhance business performance. Additionally, I developed performance metrics, improved customer experiences with CRM journey maps, and streamlined the employee onboarding process.

- Maintained up-to-date market and financial data for key stakeholders in the real estate and aviation sectors, facilitating evaluation and development of investment strategies. - Demonstrated expertise in writing research reports and preparing presentations for internal teams.

- Contributed to the publication of the methodological guide titled "Action Agenda for Basin-Connected Cities" for the 9th World Water Forum in 2022. Evaluated and emphasized the critical impact of shifts in water availability on urban stakeholders, contributing to a resource that aids cities in addressing water challenges. -Developed a detailed case study on Kunshan, China, showcasing innovative nature-based solutions implemented for sustainable water management. Highlighted effective practices and strategies that contribute to resilient urban water ecosystems (see link below).

- I was awarded USAID research grant to develop a pilot scale wastewater treatment system for non-potable reuse. - Led the complete project lifecycle, from system design to installation, testing, and operation. Expertly managed the research project and showcased compelling research findings and offered future perspectives for the system's potential applications.

- Conducted environmental impact assessment (EIA) studies, and prepared initial environmental examination (IEE) reports and environmental management plans (EMP) for the prominent clientele in the real estate sector. - Conducted detailed on-site evaluations to assess environmental conditions. Skillfully mediated conflicts and coordinated with diverse stakeholders, ensuring smooth progress and meeting client expectations. - Conducted public consultations and facilitated public hearings of the projects to promote inclusive decision-making.

- Designed off-grid solar PV systems (5-50 kVa) tailored for residential applications, offering sustainable energy solutions to homeowners. - Maintained a database of sales activity and engaged in proactive correspondence with potential leads. Fostered customer relationships and drove sales initiatives by providing timely and informative responses to inquiries. - Played a pivotal role as a core team member in managing and representing the company at an International Expo on Renewables, contributing to increased business visibility and establishing a strong industry presence.

- Conducted a comprehensive literature review on desalination technologies suitable for producing drinking water in the saline regions of Pakistan. Evaluated various techniques to inform the development of an effective and efficient desalination system. - Successfully secured funding for the design and implementation of a pilot-scale reverse osmosis plant for the desalination of brackish water to produce high-quality drinking water. - Performed rigorous drinking water testing to assess the system's output quality. Analyzed test results and refined operational parameters to optimize system performance (as part of the final year project of my graduate degree)

- Carried out an impact assessment (IEE) of community physical infrastructure schemes in the KPK region of Pakistan that included conducting the site visit, holding a public consultation, analyzing primary and secondary data, and writing an analytical survey report. - Performed the health, safety and environment (HSE) audit of the workplace and submitted the findings with recommendations.

My degree primarily focused on water and wastewater treatment and control, complemented by courses on solid waste management and air pollution control. My one-year research study explored greywater (wastewater) treatment for non-potable reuse (see project section).

Participated in a fully-funded summer school organized by the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), focusing on the theme 'Public Health: from a Small Island State to the Global Community.

Built a strong foundation in engineering principles applied to environmental challenges. The program covered subjects like water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control, solid waste management, EIA, renewables, agricultural management, and sustainable development. My thesis was based on the desalination of brackish water using RO membranes (see Project section).
