- Involve on project RFQ process with global inter-company, 3rd party vendor from China and Local vendors • Monitoring data management to keep accurate inventory and inventory reduction • Working closely with suppliers, forwarder and customers to assure on time delivery • Ensuring the personal safety and safe working environment of staff within warehouse area. • Work along with Engineering Department and Sales Department for calculating total supply chain cost in relation to proposed new projects. • Obtaining quotes for transportation and also creat cost comparisons on shipping cost for major project • Working with Custom and MITI in providing customer of Preferential Certificate of origin (PCO) with correct HS Code • Co-operate with Finance team in ensuring proper documentation of SST Exemption on imported material and exploration of other SST exemption opportunity • Liaise with indirect material vendor and sub-contractor in providing quality work with competitive pricing • Sourcing of new vendor in China, Taiwan and Malaysia market

Responsibility • Sourcing of raw material, component parts, mould and die and other direct materials related to serial production. • To compute monthly capacity planning based on material requirement planning, tool capacity and tool life. • To assist in cost reduction activities through negotiation, VE/VA, localization, cost analysis and re-sourcing. • To identify requirement for tools replacement or additional tools based on capacity planning. • To work closely with Project Department to ensure all new component parts assigned are developed accordingly to project timeline and new component supplier selection. • As a committee within ISO 14000 implementation. • As a team member within SOC team (Substance of Concerned) Skill Obtained • Understand the entire sourcing activities. • Knowledge of Metal Stamping process, coating process and heat treatment process. • Knowledge of VE/VA, quotation analysis and PPAP document requirement. Accomplishment • Able to accomplish the Kenari and Renault Kangoo Restraint System Project which is carried forward project according to the project deadline. • Attended the Autoliv Asia Pacific metal commodity meeting in Bangkok in 2006 and in China in 2007 for the sourcing and costing strategy. • Attended INCOTERM training in June 2006. • Accomplished D18D project which covering sourcing, development until mass production stage.

Responsibility • To co-ordinate and monitor vendor quality performance rating and drive for vendor continuous quality improvement. • To liaise with vendors and discuss on-going quality issue. • To review and update of the in-coming inspection criteria. • To monitor vendors' quality performance through data collection, compilation and evaluation. • To ensure quality and capability of supplier through continuous process enhancement and quality improvement at supplier process. • To conduct periodical audit on vendors' quality system and verify the corrective action taken against the Non-Conformance Claim • Responsible for evaluating and qualifying new vendor • To conduct and formulate of the compliance policy for X-Ray Fluorescent ( XRF ) machine operation • To provide periodical training and for the XRF machine operator awareness programs.
