Co-founder and Head of Projects at Sunsure Energy, building large-scale renewable energy projects across solar, wind, battery energy storage, transmission lines and switchyards. My role focuses on project management, construction execution, quality assurance, occupational health & safety, ESG, insurance and regulatory approvals, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, with capital-efficiency and to required standards as the platform scales. Sunsure operates 750+ MW of renewable assets across 16 Indian states, serving 70+ industrial customers, with ~2.5 GW under construction for supplying clean power to both Commercial & Industrial electricity users and Government utilities / DISCOMs. Backed by a US$400 million equity commitment from Partners Group, Sunsure is scaling a multi-technology renewable energy IPP platform in India. I bring over a decade of experience in complex infrastructure delivery, having started my career in oil & gas before transitioning to renewables. At Sunsure, my focus is on building strong execution teams, enforcing high safety and quality standards, and embedding disciplined processes that allow rapid growth without compromising compliance or risk controls. Driven by the belief that India’s energy transition will be built on safe execution, operational discipline and long-term accountability.

The portfolio comprised captive, third-party sale and behind-the-meter configurations, delivered across multiple states under varied utility and inspection regimes. My role covered project planning, site execution, cost control, statutory approvals and handover to clients, while standardising construction practices and vendor management. This phase laid the execution foundation for Sunsure’s transition from EPC delivery to an IPP-led growth model, with repeatable construction processes, safety and sustainability practices, and client-facing execution discipline.
