Duties and Responsibilities: • Prepare drilling schedules for all EPSA’s (NOC’s & Petro-Canada). • Prepare well budgets & all drilling programs for all EPSA’s • Support drilling operations. • Collate and interpret all available offset well information for well design and solving drilling problems. • Preparation of detailed materials, equipment checklists for well material and equipment requirements. • Preparation of drilling activity report and final well report. • Prepare monthly drilling activity presentation to the management. • Prepare all the data required for (NOC/Petro-Canada) technical meeting. • Prepare scope of works for drilling department e.g (Mud materials, Drilling bits and cementing programs) • Monitor and supervisor other drilling engineers team members

Group Project: I was in charge of the Drilling part of a real case field data in North Sea e.g. (Directional and Horizontal drilling, Bit Selection, Mud Selection, Bottom Hole Assemble Design and Casing Design) to achieve the minimum Drilling Cost. Individual Project: I have been awarded a best Petroleum Engineering student project prize at institute of petroleum, as an excellence of my individual project; it was about (Helical Buckling and Lock-up Condition for Casing Drilling Application in Directional Drilling).

• I was Involved in the detailed design and drilling of exploration & development wells. Responsibilities included: • Liaising with 3rd party service providers, both before and during the well. • Perform drilling engineering for wells e.g. preparation, SOW, operation programs in a timely manner, in liaison with the other project members. • Writing of the drilling & completion programs. • Writing and co-presenting well progress updates to the HOO management. • Operational support for the rig during the drilling phase. • Compilation and editing of the end of well report. • Working with the drilling team to ensure appropriate equipment scheduling. • Offset data reviewing for relevant wells. • Reporting to the Drilling Coordinator on a weekly basis. • Communication on a regular basis with the drilling & completion Supervisors. • Raising PO requisitions for equipment and services negotiating with 3rd party Suppliers. • Performance analysis & NPT tracking. • Maintaining EOWR daily summary. • Updating general well files. • Cement calculations . • Review and implementing Drilling Supervisor’s work orders • Ensure optimization of safe working practices are considered in the development of operational programmes • Accurately prepare budget and duration required for the planned wells

Have worked on 1000HP, 1500HP and 2000HP drilling rigs. My job was to control and implement the drilling and monitor the operation and guaranty maximum performance and safe operation considering both drilling and completion, and preparing the daily drilling report on daily basis Responsibilities include: • Monitor plans, programs and work progress. • Co-ordinate activities with third party supervisory personnel on the drilling unit in conjunction with the scope of work. • Ensure equipment and materials meet quality control standards and regulatory requirements. • Ensure an adequate inventory of equipment and materials is maintained on the drilling unit to carry out the work. • Ensure compliance with all regulations pertaining to the work and report any deviations. • Act as the alternate Site Safety Manager • Prepare well site plans such as casing running lists and cement calculations. • Co-supervise casing and cement jobs. • Co-supervise non-routine operations such as fishing and well control. • Supervise operations during day and night. • Ensure procedures employed meet acceptable technical standards as well as project policy and procedures. • Interpret drilling/testing programs and provide technical advice and assistance to the Scope of work. • Upgrade drilling program to adjust for changes in the well bore pressure regime and geology. • Perform independent calculations to ensure technical validity and correctness of contractors’ work. • Conduct a performance assessment of work performed by the drilling contractor and third party service contractors. • Complete (or ensure completed) all routine daily drilling and cost control reports required by the operator and the regulatory bodies and review with the Scope of work before submission to the HOO office on a daily basis • Support the Scope of work as Site Safety Manager in managing company HSE systems on the drilling unit.
