Led the technical direction and delivery of Mnemonic’s archival and SaaS platforms. Coordinated a cross-functional team (backend, frontend, and DevOps) as a peer technical lead, owning architecture, roadmaps, and key technical decisions while remaining ~30% hands-on. Drove major initiatives including a core system rewrite, MongoDB 3→7 migration, transition from native Linux deployments to Kubernetes, and the definition of a data-quality framework aligned with ISO standards. Established CI/CD practices, reviewed designs and PRs, mentored engineers, and proactively identified technical risks and long-term improvements to support sustainable growth.

Developed and maintained Mnemonic’s public-facing websites and interactive storytelling projects. Led a full rewrite of the website stack from Metalsmith to Gatsby, implementing Figma designs with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and content-driven UX. Built interactive scrollytelling experiences, data visualizations, and maps using D3, and developed and implemented backend APIs to serve and manage content. Worked closely with designers and researchers to translate complex archival and investigative material into engaging, technically robust web experiences.
