KRIC is a not-for-profit society which supports the development of small and medium-sized businesses working in science, technology or innovation. Responsibilities included the planning and delivery of a variety of KRIC programs, initiatives and events. Highlights include: - Lead the East Kootenay portion of a Business Retention and Expansion initiative, which involved 179 manufacturing or technology-related businesses and spanned more than 2 years. - Developed and delivered KRIC’s 2014-15 Workshop Series, including program development, fundraising, budget management, content development and project delivery. - Represented KRIC at local and regional economic development events and advocated on behalf of the technology sector with municipalities, Chambers of Commerce, Provincial representatives and other organizations.
