Managed and led PCI assessments across the global TSYS Enterprise for Issuing, Merchant, Consumer solutions. Responsible for overall schedule, preparation, assessment, remediation, and recertification activities. Provided technical and business support for the development and implementation of processes to support PCI compliance and data security programs across the enterprise. Analyzed PCI requirements agains business and/or technical requires to consult, advise, and provide subject matter expertise to support PCI compliance, and identify risk or issues that could impact security or compliance.

Responsible for providing leadership and direction for a team of information security leaders and cyber security specialists for the TSYS Cyber Threat Management Center, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Administration, Forensics, and Incident Response teams for the global TSYS enterprise.

Responsible for directing and managing all audit and assessment engagements (PCI DSS, SSAE16, ACH, client audits, internal audits, data security reviews), validating and enforcing adherence to internal and regulatory compliance requirements, and directing vulnerability management for the TSYS infrastructure teams worldwide. This included: Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMWare, HP Non-Stop systems, database technologies, system software/middleware services, network systems, voice/telephony services, data center operations, desktop and end user device, mainframe and distributed code deployments, and change management.

Managed teams responsible for application design, development, testing, and production support for online (web-based) applications used for credit card account management. Owned all phases of development for initial analysis to deployment accomplished via teams in the US, UK, and India. Collaborated with clients, client relationship and product delivery teams to understand client needs and set direction for the delivery team. Responsible for delivery of project within budget, schedule, quality, and adherence to software development lifecycle. Responsible for all application audit and assessment activities (SAS70, ACH, PCI, client audits, internal audits), providing product and technical overviews, documentation and evidence, management responses, remediation plans, and improving technical controls.

Provided leadership and direction to six functional areas responsible for managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure for TSYS Acquiring Solutions major lines of business with an annual operating budget of $70 million and approximate capital budget of $10 million. Led six direct reports with overall staff of 100+ team members, including interim executive for quality assurance test teams. This included; UNIX and WINTEL platforms, voice and data networks, performance and capacity planning, end-user systems and support, database technologies, 24 x 7 command center, release and configuration management, change management, and management of transaction network providers for authorization processing routing an average of 14 million financial transaction per day.
