About
I have a diversified skill set, having worked in both an office environment and in the field getting my hands dirty. I have done everything from pouring concrete and pounding posts to scouring contracts and tracking down people via phone and email. I am currently serving as a Research Tech at the South Dakota State University Regional Extension Office in Watertown, South Dakota in the Department of Natural Resource Management searching for and mapping undisturbed habitat in Minnesota and South Dakota. My primary passions include land use and land planning issues in both urban and rural environments. I also have an interest in technology and the technological aspects of geography. I have knowledge in in ArcGIS 10.0 - 10.3 (and all the various extensions), Erdas Imagine, ENVI, and GPS systems. I am also proficient with MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
