• Worked on the project of microalgae processing to biodiesel and lactic acid. • Improved the method for microalgae biomass processing to lipid using a two steps process which involves extraction of lipid after acid hydrolysis pretreatment. • Fermentation of the microalgae hydrolysate using Lactobacillus pentosus to obtain lactic acid. • Subculturing of bacteria and fungi cells and carry out lipase activity test using olive oil. • Started on the project in obtaining commercially useful monoacetin and triacetin from glycerol (a byproduct in biodiesel production) using methyl acetate or acetic acid with Novozyme 435.
