Working with catering services on intercity train services between Manchester and London

I managed a small group home for individual with complex needs and challenging behaviour. I was responsible for ensuring that the home net the inspection requirements whilst still enduring the delivery of high quality care. Part of my role with to network with other care providers to look at standardising care provision. I organised training for staff to build on their existing knowledge and meet mandatory sector requirements.i maintained financial records for the home which wAs a registered charity and ensured we worked within our financial remit

As programme team leader I oversaw the delivery of both work based and curriculum based courses. I organised timetables, bespoke programmes to meet employers requirements and other bespoke training. I developed courses while identifying sector requirements and ensuring future planning met employers needs. I also taught in a number of the courses and case loaded staff to cover requirements

I work as a tutor for health and social care, assessing learners working within the care sectors. I initially started as a sessional tutor before going full time in September 2000

I am currently managing the delivery of apprenticeships in creative and digital, IT software and telecom, social media, live events and promotions, music, photography, costume and wardrobe, technical theatre, design, catering and hospitality, cleaning and facilities, horticulture and floristry, print and print packaging, sport and leisure and hair and Beauty Therapy. I am responsible for overseeing the successful completion of all learners. I identify staffing requirements, linked to our key priority areas of growth and recruit to match these needs. I currently performance manage 23 staff across these sectors and link with employers and awarding bodies to ensure we continue to meet the needs of the industries. I also ensure all work also meets OFSTED requirements.

As sector lead for the health and social care area of apprentices with the college I am responsible for liaising with curriculum, awarding bodies, Ofsted and employers to ensure the success of our learners while maintaining the quality of the delivery of our frameworks. I also support my own caseload of learners undertaking their level 5 care leadership and management awards.

I currently design bespoke silver jewellery for sale on my website and through craft venues and parties. I specialise in .925 silver pieces that are hand crafted so no two pieces are the same. I also undertake commissions for individuals including bridal bouquets and jewellery

Working for the awarding body undertaking centre visits to ensure compliance to award standards, offering advice and guidance as required and reporting my findings to the awarding body.

I undertook this course because of my interest in jewellery. I specialised in designing and making jewellery, mainly working in silver. I now have a web page where I sell my jewellery and other creations around the world.
