About
Tammy Matthews is a writer, editor and grammar aficionado. After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor's degree in magazine editing, she worked as an editor for the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce's Chicago Southland Business magazine. From there, she served as a special sections editor for the Chicago Sun-Times and the Pioneer Press. Currently, Matthews lives in Fort Collins, Colorado, where she is pursuing a master's degree in public communications and technology from Colorado State University while working as a graduate teaching assistant. She still serves as a freelance editor for the Chicago Sun-Times as well as the Chicago Tribune.
