Tamika Martin

As a multi-disciplinary creative and strategist, I bring a wealth of experience in brand direction, event production, and consultancy across the entertainment, arts, and education sectors. Currently, I serve as founder and Brand Director for Tamika Martin & Friends and also I am the lead mentor practitioner at U Create Consultancy, supporting seed-stage startups and established brands with strategic mentorship and creative innovation. I also head up Culture Deluxe Limited, a premium travel and lifestyle agency, working with a diverse and international clientele to curate bespoke experiences. Previously, I was the Creative Director for the British Urban Film Festival (BUFF), where I led on high-impact visual storytelling and branding for the annual awards, elevating the platform’s cultural and industry influence. My portfolio includes: * Contribution to the launch of multiple new digital platforms * Supporting the Rebrand of a renowned music festival * Delivering a best-selling author's social media campaign *Fundraising and driving awareness for some of the UKs leading charities through multiple projects, initiatives and events * Executing branded anniversary events in partnership with global brands Beyond the creative industries, I have a strong foundation in youth education and social justice. As a previous Learning Facilitator at the National Justice Museum (Nottingham), I helped to design and deliver knife crime prevention workshops in partnership with the Ben Kinsella Trust. These sessions were widely praised by participants and educators across the board for their engagement and impact. I hold a BA Open Degree from the Open University, with interdisciplinary studies in entrepreneurship, psychology, youth justice, and history. My approach is informed by a passion for community, storytelling, and purposeful design.
