I am an educator with extensive experience in youth development and engagement. I have over ten years’ experience in curriculum design and facilitation of blended learning. I have developed online learning materials and courses for graduate students and have lectured in Child and Youth Care, Psychology and Behavioural Studies. I am skilled in quantitative and qualitative research methods, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation and quality assurance. I have experience in programme development, research development and performance monitoring. I have completed several courses on Project Management and have experience in community engagement, youth mobilisation and cross-cultural engagement. As a content and curriculum developer, I am a skilled writer and presenter. I launched the Career Centre at Monash South Africa in 2018 and oversaw the career development systems and programmes for the Monash students and alumni. I started an evidence-based portfolio of community engagement projects at Monash South Africa, ensuring 3000+ students were able to partake in the various opportunities available, and mentoring the student leaders of such programmes in order to empower them with further leadership and development skills. I have a Master of Philosophy in Sociology, with a focus on M&E and education (graduated Cum Laude) and am fluent in both Dutch and English and speak some Spanish (beginner).
