Seasonal Sales position. Go door-to-door to provide sales pitch to prospective customers. Complete sales process, credit check, and paper work for interested customers. Schedule an equipment installation time. Position started in the Rochester, New York area, and also covered the Buffalo and Syracuse New York areas. Position then Moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Operate Hyster Forklift/Push Pack lift in a safe manner. Move finish pallets of product from the production line to storage. Keep storage neat and organized. Arrange pallets to meet FIFO practices. Load Rail cars and Trucks according to the load order and FIFO. Keep work area free from debris. Perform other tasks as needed.

Pick up items listed on a disposal request at the correct location. Use Hand truck and proper lifting technique. Bring items to Surplus store front. Help to enter items and prices into inventory system, apply price tag to items, and then put items in appropriate part of the store. Help customers find answers to their questions. Run the checkout stand. Help customers to load vehicle with their purchases. Deliver items that are purchased by other USU departments when requested. Clean the store. Do other tasks as needed.

Assist customers by filling orders and finalizing purchase. Find answers to customer questions. Pick up will-call purchases. Deliver customer orders to appropriate locations. Clean the store. Process newly received products and place them in proper areas of the store. Run other errands when needed.

Part Time/seasonal positions during the school year months starting in September through April. Provide patrons with tickets upon receiving payment or a valid USU Student ID card. Or help patrons to find seats, help them navigate through the dark during a program, Direct them to the restrooms or exits when needed. Help to evacuate the build in case of an emergency.

Obtain proper Utah Herbicide Applicator's Licence. Search out noxious weeds within a given area and apply herbicide to the target plant in accordance with state law. Position requires walking with 4 Gallon pack for long periods of time over rough terrain. Position ended when company ran out of funds.

Clean common areas of assigned area. Use proper chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Sometimes required to perform deep cleaning after apartment move outs. Or operate carpet deep cleaning equipment for major stains, summer vacancy deep cleaning, apartment move out deep cleaning, and for flooding clean up. Also clean and repair window blinds. Summer of 2006 position was extended into the fall. I had leaves of absence for the school year, (Sept-May of 2004-05 and 2005-06) volunteer work (Nov 2006-Dec 2008), and other temporary work (Apr 2009-Sept 2009)

Perform all tasks related to running and closing the Deli Department. Obtain Utah Food Handler's Permit. Prepare and store food in accordance with safe food handling and preparation standards to full fill customer orders and to maintain food case supply. Maintain and cheerful attitude throughout the shift. Maintain a clean work area. Clean dishes that are no longer in use. Clean food case and prepare the department for closing.

Assist customers upon check-out by bagging their purchases in a neat and timely fashion. Organize food product into separate bags to minimize possible cross-contamination. Maintain a cheerful attitude throughout the shift. Assist customers to their vehicle and help them load their purchases into their vehicle. Help to keep a neat and organized store by facing and stocking assigned isle and helping co-workers to face and stock their assigned isles. Perform weekend re-stock on assigned Sundays. Occasionally deliver products to customer homes.

Perform checks on the equipment within the conditioning plant at least once every hour. Make adjustments to equipment, and performed maintenance when needed. Obtain and test samples of the finished product at least once per hour. Performed other quality control checks as per SOPs. Record actions and findings on various documents. Work the night shift from 5pm to 5am, 4-on 4-off. Position is unsupervised.
