Talia Naicker
Education Manager @ Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa
About
I am currently the Education Manager for the Centre for Art Education at Zeitz MOCAA in Cape Town, where I get to combine my love of art with my passion for teaching, while also being encouraged to change the world. I was fortunate to discover art as my passion very on in life, and it is a passion I am determined to share and ignite within others. My organisation skills and meticulous attention to detail, combined with immense drive and dedication allow me to pursue the change in art and education that I want to see in the world. Creativity is at the core of my skillset and although I have a logical approach to the world, I am not afraid to think inside/outside/over/under/completely around the box. I also have freakishly neat handwriting, which most people find endearing, while other find to be unsettling. I will let you be the judge if you happen to see my journals in person. When I am not at work, you will find me reading, enjoying time outside with my wonderful husband and two rescue cats, or cooking my favourite meals to share. I also enjoy embroidery, boardgames and nature.
