o Managing a class of 350 Grade 8 learners in Creative Arts (focusing on Visual Art and Dramatic Art) o Interpreting and analysing data to determine the best academic interventions for learners o Designing digital learning materials o Fostering a safe and empathetic learning environment and digital classroom o Managing communication with guardians

o Organise and facilitate artwork movement logistics between lenders, galleries and auction houses for new acquisitions and exhibitions o Maintain a detailed breakdown of insurance values across multiple locations o Communicate and maintain relationships with insurance providers o Compiling detailed condition reports for artworks in the collection, as well as for works on loan o Arrange, organise and facilitate artwork loans with partnering institutions, both locally and internationally o Compile and submit loan agreements on behalf of Norval Foundation for all exhibitions o Curate the Norval Foundation Booth for the 2019 Investec Cape Town Art Fair, as well as managing the artwork logistics both to and from the fair o Liaise with artwork storage clients and assisting with the movement of artworks into the storage facilities o Facilitate private and public tours, as well as assisting with educational workshops o Maintaining records for the private art collection of over 1800 objects (at the time of my departure in 2021)

I was part of the team that was instrumental in the opening of Norval Foundation in 2018. I was heavily involved in the establishment and maintenance of new systems to help get this institution running. My responsibilities included: o Creating exhibition checklists and cross-referencing artwork details o Liaising and maintaining the relationship with lenders, galleries and other museums o Unpacking artworks during exhibition changes o Facilitating public and private tours with diverse audiences, to foster an accessible environment within the museum o Create organisational systems for a new database for over 1500 art objects o Research artists backgrounds for exhibitions and publications o Compiling timelines for exhibitions and publications

This internship was completed as part of my Professional Practice Module in my 4th year of my Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Wits School of Arts, but I continued the internship later into the year to see the exhibition through to completion. o Assist with all exhibition-related admin o Creating and maintaining exhibition checklists o Researching dates and background history of South African artist, Alfred Thoba o Planning and assisting with installation of the Natalie Knight booth at the Turbine Art Fair in 2017
