• Rebuilt the team responsible for testing and releasing the Roblox app to XXXM+ active monthly users on six platforms. • Led the project to port Roblox to Meta Quest VR headset, which became one of the top 5 apps on the Meta Quest platform within the first quarter. • Built a team to enable adoption of Roblox by K-12. (Joined as a Sr. Eng. Manager.)

• Founded a company to develop a product to help remote workers build stronger relationships at work. • Recruited a cofounder who focused on sales and fundraising. • Led the engineering team in implementing a highly scalable and resilient product (< 1 hour of downtime per year), with a market-leading feature set. • The product was used by leading companies such as BCG, Deloitte and TED prior to acquisition by Roblox.

• Lead the engineering team of Canada’s top fintech startup, with $XB of assets under management. • Expanded the team from 95 to 120 people, adding a number of senior technical leaders, including two engineering directors and two staff engineers. • Led the effort to shift Wealthsimple to a verticalized R&D model, with teams having end-to-end autonomy to solve business problems. Made dramatic improvements to Wealthsimple’s security posture, built a new security team. • Transitioned Wealthsimple to working without the office at the onset of COVID 19 (including the brokerage functions), leveraging my earlier work to remove dependencies on in-office trading equipment. • Led a rapid re-architecture of the trading system to support hyper-growth of trading volumes (up to 20% per day) at the start of COVID 19.

• Played a key role in building a professional services company from 2 people to 350 employees and $XXM of annual revenue. • Built and led a 155 person delivery organization nearly from scratch, personally interviewing the overwhelming majority of the first 100 team members. • Played a key role in architecting and growing Rangle.io’s culture, helping it become a talent destination. • Set technology direction, implemented best practices and led adoption of agile. • The team delivered dozens of projects per year transforming main user-facing experiences for clients such as Uniqlo, TD, Pacific Life, Priceline, and Aldo. • The team established itself as a global leader in modern front end development and collaborated with Google on developing key web technologies. • Jumpstarted Rangle's AI practice in 2018. • Served as the executive sponsor for a non-profit spin-off project aiming to help women and non-binary technology professionals advance in their careers.
