As a tax professional, I have assisted a variety of national and multinational companies from different sectors and size to deal with their tax obligations. Through my experience of working in prestigious tax teams at financial institutions and big four, I had the opportunity to develop a valuable understanding and knowledge of the Brazilian tax laws and international tax matters. During years of hard working, I gained solid experience in tax advisory, including corporate taxation, M&A transactions, cross-border investment structuring, financial transactions and capital markets taxation. In addition, I also have experienced internal tax routines of financial institutions, including support to operational areas and products development teams, management of tax litigation at all levels with external law firms, assistance on inspections carried by the Brazilian Federal Revenue as well as other tax authorities, and monitoring and control of debt clearance certificates (CND). I graduated in law (LL.B.) at Mackenzie Presbyterian University (São Paulo/Brazil) and have just concluded a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Tax Law at The University of Melbourne (Melbourne/Australia). I have excellent communication skills and great logical thinking capacity.
