The Global Health program of Africa Japan Forum serves as a Japanese focal point for civil society organizations working on health. I collaborated with global civil society actors to conduct national, sub-regional, regional and global level advocacy for equitable global health policies, particularly around HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria, universal health coverage, and equitable access to pandemic medical technologies. This includes advocacy towards increasing the Japanese Government's contributions to the Global Fund, raising the voices of marginalised communities in global arenas such as the G7 Summits and UN processes, and conducting research and raising public awareness of inequitable access to medical countermeasures during the Pandemic.

Compiled news-digests and tweets of drug policy updates in the Asia Pacific. Researched for training materials for journalists working in the field of drug policy.

Coordinated a comics-project that aimed to reduce self-stigma and enhance the mental well-being of Young People Living with HIV in Malawi. Supported the Thandizo project, a risk-assessment mobile application that Community Health Workers in Malawi utilized in their community HIV support groups.

Participated in the Children and Youth program, targeting vulnerable Vietnamese youth, particularly those who are affected by drugs and HIV. Created educational visual digital communication products for a Facebook community support page (Bảo vệ tương lai) to spread information and raise awareness on drugs and safe drug-use. Researched and compiled information to create a literature review on the interventions for victims of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE).

Explored health promotion and behavior change interventions related to sex and STD/STIs, obesity, addiction and stress.

Interdisciplinary study with a focus on cognition.
