Education

At UFBA, the course lasted five years, but I've completed in 6 years, as I've taken an exchange in 2014 in the United Kingdom. The focus of the course was more on Maths and Computing theory, also addressing the main Computing areas, such as Data Structure, Computer Architecture, Object-Oriented Programming, Compilers, Formal Languages and Automata, Databases, Paradigms of programming languages , Software Engineering, among others. For the final project, the chosen area was the Internet of Things. Concepts, protocols and technologies aimed at the development of Internet of Things applications were researched. From this research, I developed a Pulse Oximeter for detection and monitoring of heartbeat and blood SPO2 rates, using the Internet of Things application to perform the remote monitoring. As a final result, a 58 page dissertation was written, as well as the development of all components for the practical part and the development of Web applications involved in the project.

In 2014, I had the opportunity to study for two semesters at De Montfort University through the Science without Borders Program. The modules taken were Mobile Robotics, Multi-service Networks, Multi-tier Web Applications, Organization, Project and Research and Telematics, reaching 2:1 as final mark, scoring first class in all courseworks. During the course, I participated voluntarily in an Electronic Club, learning concepts from basic to the advanced. As a summer internship, I worked at the Effect Digital Agency, focused on development of web applications. I developed an application for controlling and simulation of Pioneer robots using the ARIA library and approaching advanced concepts of mobile robots. Another project was the development of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for controlling and manipulating a CAN BUS board. In addition, an article entitled "Routing protocols DSR and AODV in Ad Hoc Networks" was written, addressing key concepts about Ad Hoc and Networks.
