A lifelong, self-professed nomad, I earned my Interior Design degree in Oakville in 2001 while raising a young family and subsequently moved into roles in both design and sales in Toronto, New York, New Jersey, and more recently, Ottawa. That adaptability combined with my deep background in Interior Design, Project Management and Client Engagement has provided me with a unique blend of skills and highly capable of translating concepts quickly into workable design solutions. My ability to listen attentively to my clients’ needs and requirements provides the framework for developing productive working environments. Strong interpersonal skills and an engaging manner has resulted in innumerable client relationships and consequently many successful projects. My optimistic attitude, levelheadedness and sense of humor are unflagging in demanding and stressful situations and I most enjoy the people contact while attempting to make a positive impact daily. Work primarily as a project manager for this small but thriving furniture dealership, owned and operated by an interior designer. My role at this firm varies greatly. Specializing in the specification and supply of furniture to schools and libraries means that on any given day I could be programming, presenting to end-users, space-planning, selecting materials, designing millwork or preparing budgets, purchase orders and invoices. Developed project tracking documentation to streamline the ordering, invoicing and receiving of furniture and millwork.
