I earned my PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and previously held the role of Senior Director, Project Management at Gemma Biotherapeutics. Experience

Account Director
Work directly with PANTHERx Rare Manufacturer Partners on all aspects of program lifecycle pre and post launch. Manage and lead team of Manufacturer Liaisons to ensure seamless communication between the organizations. Establish and track KPIs to monitor the health of the program. Facilitate program communication across internal pharmacists, operations, clinical, claims, and finance teams. Report to PANTHERx Rare leadership on program lifecycle and Partner relationship.

Drive best practices across the preclinical, clinical, and CMC teams. Organize an integrated portfolio strategy. Promote a collaborative and engaged project team culture that drives accountability and success. Oversee the day-to-day execution of programs, tracking progress against company milestones. Responsible for collaborations with Gemma Bio CROs.

Senior project manager for 5+ programs across the organization. Experience leading programs funded by small biotechs, large biotechs, foundations, and with internal funding. Successfully managed a program from the discovery stage through IND and CTA filing stage. Work strategically within an organization of 300+ professionals to ensure projects and programs remain on budget, on schedule, and within scope.

Research Specialist IV
As a research specialist IV in the group of Prof. Peter Wipf at the University of Pittsburgh, I worked as a project manager and lab manager. I managed small molecule drug discovery projects during the pre-IND filing stage and was responsible for all phases of work including design, coordination, data interpretation, and data presentation. As a lab manager I was responsible for the training and maintenance of instrumentation, management of a chemical library of compounds, QC analysis of newly synthesized compounds, and the execution of bioanalytical assays.

Organic Chemistry Supplemental Instructor
As an Organic Chemistry supplemental instructor, I attended lectures and held three review sessions a week. I interacted directly with the Chemistry department faculty and staff as well as over 300 students enrolled in the course. During the review sessions I went over important concepts, provided practice problems and worksheets, and served as a mentor to the students.

REU Biochemistry Researcher
As a participant in the REU program at Duquesne University, I worked in the laboratory of Prof. Michael Cascio performing protein purifications and analyses. I used techniques such as dialysis, ELISA analysis, SDS-PAGE gels, solution make-up, cell infection,and MS Biotin labeling.

Thesis: Synthetic Studies of Heterocyclic and Bioactive Agents Advisor: Prof. Peter Wipf, Distinguished University Professor - Discovered and elucidated the mechanism for a new five-component condensation reaction based on a sequential Biginelli and Diels-Alder reaction. - Developed a pilot-plant scale synthesis of the EGRF inhibitor Gefitinib. - Developed a new synthetic route towards potent nitroxide compounds and determined a structure activity relationship in a ferroptosis cell death model.
