As a student placement representative, my duties involved approaching organisations, conducting the Placement Week and being a source of channel between students and the companies. Was successful in the placement of the entire batch of students graduating with MSc and M.Phil in Economics at Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai in reputed corporates and educational organisations.

* Provided consultancy services and analytics support to the strategy team of a Fortune 500 retail client in the US. On boarded new joiners & have created collaterals for training purposes * Interaction with the on-site team and clients on a day to day basis to initiate/finalize actions as per clients’ requirements * Extensive experience with projects aimed at measuring campaign effectiveness, category planning, market basket analysis, developing merchandising and shopper insights,etc. * Successfully executed an onsite work assignment which involved analyzing survey responses, consumer demographics and perception about the retailer; analyzing an ongoing campaign across retailer chain and gaining first-hand business experience during a stint of 4 weeks in the US.

I was involved in assisting the Economics & Policy Research Department come up with a report on 'An Analytical Insight into the different types of data available with NSE'. The report was then presented in front of the senior management to general appreciation. A lot of the ideas were incorporated by the analytics team. I was also part of the Organising team on the NSE-IGIDR Conference on 'Corporate Governance' held in the month of July.

Developed a user friendly KPI of the economy. Exposure to basic investment banking principles and different asset classes Developed advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel due to the assigned projects.
