Designed national health data platforms serving 30+ million citizens. Built AI/ML systems for population health management, early disease detection, national health system capacity planning, and value-based care. Operated in environments where decisions faced regulatory scrutiny and ministerial accountability—and learned firsthand that AI which can't show its reasoning doesn't get trusted, no matter how accurate it is.

Built a healthcare AI program from the ground up. Led teams across clinical, engineering, and data science to deploy AI/ML across revenue cycle, surgical operations, pharmacy, emergency, lab, imaging, and ambulatory care—delivering $8M in documented cost savings. Developed an EHR-integrated machine learning application for medical imaging analysis and disease detection. Proved that AI grounded in operational reality delivers ROI; learned that scaling it requires knowledge structures clinicians actually trust.

Co-founded the Analytic Interventions Unit—a predictive analytics group built to move AI from research into clinical practice. Deployed five production AI/ML systems: readmission risk, inpatient length of stay, sepsis detection, fall risk, and ambulatory no-shows. Owned the full lifecycle—use case identification, intervention design, model development, clinical deployment, and ongoing monitoring. Established the organization's first standards for productionalizing machine learning. Saw what it takes to get clinicians to actually trust and use AI at the point of care.

Led enterprise analytics and data science initiatives for healthcare and life sciences organizations. Built insights platforms for major health operators and developed data-driven automation strategies across the portfolio.
