Determine the required personnel, budget, and lead time, evaluate the requirements for F&T, equipment, and outsourcing, and estimate the manufacturing hours and cost. • Technical New product review: Collaborate closely with the design engineering team to provide manufacturing input in order to reduce the cost of the product and improve inhouse manufacturing capacity. • Manufacturing preparedness (NPI): Lead the team in the development of procedures, work instructions, F&T design, method sheets, weld maps, torque and test maps, as well as a consumables list. Outsourcing process scope. Verify BoM and create standard routings. Perform the first article and handover to production. • Continuous Improvement (CI): Lead the team in the implementation of a CI initiative to decrease the manufacturing cycle time. introduce sophisticated machines, enhancing the design of fixtures. increase clad metal deposition rate or increase speed. Multiple hydro and gas test method. • RCA: Conduct root cause analysis implement CAPA, and evaluate its effectiveness. • Production planning: Collaborate with the planners and make schedule to ensure on time delivery. • Supplier development: Provide technical support to suppliers. • Lean Implementation: Direct team to implement Lean improvement activities. • Capex and Indirect Cost: Submit the annual Capex/wish list. Implement methods to control the indirect cost of consumables. • Training and Development: provide training and advance the employees and team. • HSE- Lead the team in the establishment of a safe work culture.
